Custom Frameless Glass Shower Doors in St. Augustine Shores, FL

St. Augustine Shores is a neighborhood full of well-kept homes with bathrooms that are ready for an upgrade. Bold City Glass brings custom frameless shower doors, glass enclosures, mirrors, railings, wine rooms, and residential glass repair directly to your door. At Bold City Glass we measure on-site, fabricate to fit, and stand behind every install.

A lot of St. Augustine Shores homes were built between the 1970s and 1990s. The original framed shower enclosures in those bathrooms have had a long run. Aluminum channels corrode. Seals fail. Doors drop out of alignment. A frameless glass enclosure fixes all of that and leaves the bathroom looking like a different room.

We build frameless shower doors, semi-frameless enclosures, sliding systems, pivot doors, inline panels, corner layouts, and neo-angle designs. Glass thickness runs 3/8" to 1/2" depending on door size and hardware load. Low-iron glass gives noticeably better clarity than standard float glass. On thicker panels, the difference in color is visible to the naked eye.

At Bold City Glass we apply protective coatings that reduce mineral buildup from St. Johns County's hard water. Hard water spots are a daily battle in this area. The right coating cuts that maintenance down significantly. Hardware options include brushed nickel, matte black, polished chrome, and oil-rubbed bronze. We talk through finish selection during the site visit so the hardware connects to the full bathroom design.

Builder-grade mirrors are one of the easiest things to upgrade in a St. Augustine Shores bathroom. We cut custom vanity mirrors, full-length mirrors, gym mirrors, and large-format mirrors for living and dining spaces. We fabricate glass shelving, tabletops, and decorative cut pieces for furniture and cabinetry. Every piece is cut to your exact dimensions.

Edge finishing options include polished, beveled, and flat. A polished edge on a frameless vanity mirror looks like it belongs. A raw edge does not. We advise on the right finish for each piece during the consultation. Mounting methods include flush clips, standoffs, and adhesive systems. The right choice depends on mirror size, wall type, and backing.

We verify backing before hanging anything with real weight. For full wall mirrors and large-format installs, we use multi-point mounting systems that distribute the load and hold level over time. The right edge detail and mounting method turn a functional mirror into a deliberate part of the room.

St. Augustine Shores homes with open staircases or elevated back decks are natural fits for glass panel railings. The view stays open. The space stays bright. Wood or metal railings interrupt both. We install interior and exterior railing systems using tempered and laminated glass panels that meet Florida Building Code requirements.

Post-mounted systems work well on exterior decks where attachment points follow the framing below. Channel-base systems deliver the cleanest indoor result. The glass floats with no visible side hardware. Standoffs land in between: minimal hardware, still visible.

Glass partitions give open-plan homes functional separation without blocking natural light. We pick mounting methods based on substrate type, load, and design intent. All glazing meets safety requirements. SGCC-certified tempered glass is standard on railing and partition installs. These systems go into new construction and into existing homes mid-renovation with equal reliability.
