Custom Frameless Glass Shower Doors in Nassau County, FL

Nassau County runs from the Atlantic beaches of Amelia Island to the pine country around Callahan, and Bold City Glass covers all of it. We handle custom frameless shower doors, glass enclosures, mirrors, railings, wine rooms, and residential glass repair for homes across the county. Every project starts with an on-site measure and gets built to the actual opening, not a catalog size.

Nassau County splits between oceanfront property on Amelia Island and inland neighborhoods around Yulee and Callahan. Salt air and coastal humidity are constant on the island side, so shower glass and hardware there have to be specified for it. We build frameless shower doors, semi-frameless enclosures, sliding systems, pivot doors, inline panels, corner layouts, and neo-angle designs.

Glass thickness runs 3/8" to 1/2" depending on panel size and hardware load. Low-iron glass reads clearer than standard float glass, and the difference shows on the thicker panels used in heavy glass systems. We apply protective coatings that slow the mineral buildup local water leaves behind, which means less scrubbing and glass that stays clear longer.

Hardware finishes include brushed nickel, matte black, polished chrome, and oil-rubbed bronze. On the coast the finish is a durability call before it is a style call, and we go through the options during the site visit so the hardware suits both the bathroom and the air it lives in. Field measurements come first, then fabrication.

We cut custom vanity mirrors, full-length mirrors, gym mirrors, and large-format mirrors for living and dining spaces. We also fabricate glass shelving, tabletops, and decorative cut pieces for furniture and cabinetry. Every piece is cut to your dimensions, which matters in the older Fernandina Beach homes where nothing is square.

Oceanfront decks on Amelia Island, elevated porches along the Intracoastal, and open staircases in newer Yulee construction are all strong candidates for glass panel railings. The view is why people build here. A wood or cable railing cuts it into strips. A glass panel railing leaves it intact.

We install interior and exterior railing systems using tempered and laminated glass panels that meet Florida Building Code requirements, which matter more on a barrier island than almost anywhere else in the state. Post-mounted systems suit exterior decks where attachment points follow the framing below. Channel-base systems give the cleanest indoor result, with the glass appearing to float.

Standoffs sit between the two, with minimal but visible hardware. Glass partitions work well in the open floor plans common in newer county construction, creating separation without blocking light. We select mounting methods by substrate type, load, and design intent, and the systems go into new builds and existing homes alike.

The hardware on your glass shower door plays a vital role in both appearance and performance. That’s why we offer a full range of hardware profiles, from polished chrome and brushed nickel to Matte Black and brass hardware, to coordinate with your bathroom style. We help you select glass shower door styles that work with your layout, such as frameless sliding glass doors, hinged panels, or door-and-panel setups. Our hardware is designed for secure operation, long-term use, and water resistance in humid environments. At Bold City Glass, we pair every frameless glass enclosure with components that match your taste and offer dependable, long-lasting performance.
